Sir Ralph, my Border Collie, is featured in Gallery 5. The gallant soldier is always on alert for squirrel invaders in the garden. He assumes the Halloween Scarecrows are some fresh troops and instructs them about the mess hall and breakfast. Sir Ralph stands on tiptoe at the Bradford Pear tree to search and find wily squirrel and fights his way through a grass jungle in hot pursuit. Squirrel is sitting on the utility pole and Sir Ralph is alert even in the glare of the sun. Our soldier takes a little break and crosses his front legs in the fashion common to Border Collies.
